Anne French, Chiropractor, Clinic Director.
I graduated from the Anglo European College of Chiropractic in 2001 with an MSc in Chiropractic. Being fully qualified, I am registered with the General Chiropractic Council and a member of the College of Chiropractors and the British Chiropractic Association.
I opened Coast 6 years ago with the intention of offering patients high standard, alternative health care and information in a friendly and professional environment from highly qualified practitioners. Based on patient’s comments, I can confidently state that we have succeeded to date but we are always looking for ways to enhance what we do.
As a Chiropractor I treat complaints such as back pain using a combination of treatments suited to each person’s needs which may involve Chiropractic, mobilization, soft tissue work, nutritional advice and a branch of Chiropractic treatment called Applied Kinesiology. This approach results not only in the relief of pain and discomfort but offers people the opportunity to take an active role to control their health and improve their lifestyle.
My true passion is to strive to optimise my patients health and wellbeing by inspiring a patient to make tiny lifestyle changes that can have an immensely, positive impact on their health.

Sue Aston, Nutritionist.
Sue was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis at the age of 24 and was advised that she would be in a wheelchair by the age of 30. After going down the route of alopathic medicine for a number of years with no improvement in her condition she started investigating alternative therapies.
This led her to make changes in her diet and seek Chiropractic assistance. Within two weeks of making the changes she noticed a marked improvement in her symptoms and has now been symptom-free for 16 years.
This disease started an interest in nutrition for Sue and she completed her Diploma in Nutritional Healing and is a member of the British Association of Applied Nutrition and Nutritional Therapy (BANT).

Elke Hilard, Reflexologist
Elke suffered for a long time from migraines, at times as frequently as every week. Neither traditional migraine medication nor any other conventional pain killers offered any relief.
She then decided to try complementary therapies and found that after only a few Reflexology treatments the migraines started to lessen in intensity, duration and frequency.
This led to Elke studying this gentle yet powerful therapy. She is a member of the ‘Federation of Holistic Therapies’ (FHT)
Amanda Wilson, Massage Therapist
Amanda has been a sports and holistic therapist for 9 years and originally developed an interest in massage while studying at the London Contemporary Dance School. However, it was the result of receiving treatments to counteract the stress and fatigue of working long hours back stage in theatre that led her to a change of lifestyle and career.
After her original training at the Wilbury Centre, Hove, Amanda studied at City College, Brighton and with the Football Association at Chichester College. Each therapy she has studied has led to another, as she feels that one of the most rewarding aspects about her vocation is that there is always more to learn.
Amanda enjoys tailoring each treatment to meet the individual needs of each client, from the choice of essential oils and massage techniques to combining different therapies for a unique experience and effective therapy.

Emma Carter, Yoga Instructor
Emma has been practicing yoga for over 10 years, first being introduced during her travels in India.
Living in Thailand for 3 years inspired Emma to qualify as a Yoga Instructor and bring her beliefs and teaching back to the UK.
Emma’s inspiration largely comes from the beautiful ancient works of Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras and the work of BKS Iyengar – and a particularly great practitioner of his work that was her teacher in Thailand.
A recurring back injury has been eased time and time again by careful alignment and precision in her yoga practice and she brings this into her classes.
Emma has a dedicated belief in the value of yoga practice and a healthy lifestyle in our modern world.
Katie Bringloe, Pilates Instructor
Katie started practising Pilates five years ago, with the aim of toning up her body and relieving lower back pain. Pilates not only helped her to achieve this, but gave her the confidence and motivation to become stronger and more flexible. Katie trained with Body Control Pilates.
Katie enjoys creating a warm and friendly environment in her classes, helping everyone feel at ease and encouraged to achieve their goals. She works closely with her clients through verbal and tactile queuing, to ensure everyone gets the most out of each session. Expect to leave her classes feeling rejuvenated, with a calm mind and a strong and supple body.
